Holistic Psychotherapy

Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating, overwhelming, or endless.” Aileen Nealie

In my work, therapy is practical, grounded, and deeply human. We talk, we reflect, we make sense of what’s happening in your life, and we work with the parts of you that live beyond words.

Holistic psychotherapy recognizes that emotional patterns don’t exist only in the mind. They live in the body, the nervous system, and the subtle ways we hold stress, trauma, and belief. When we work with all of you: mind, body, and inner awareness; change often happens more efficiently and with less emotional strain.

Alongside traditional psychotherapy, I incorporate evidence-based Energy Psychology techniques. These methods are designed to help access the root of an issue without requiring you to relive painful experiences, and to gently release what no longer needs to be carried.

One commonly used approach is Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), a method that combines focused attention with light tapping on specific points of the body. This process supports emotional regulation, reduces distress, and helps the nervous system reset. Many clients appreciate that these tools are not only effective in session, but can also be used independently in daily life.

At times, our work may also include movement, visualization, or grounding techniques that help restore balance and clarity. These approaches are about helping your system return to a sense of safety, coherence, and self-trust.

Psychotherapy is not synonymous with “fixing” oneself. It’s about helping you reconnect with yourself; clearly, compassionately, and without pressure.

I work with your whole experience: your thoughts, your emotions, your body’s signals, and your deeper sense of meaning. Together, we focus on insight and integration, so that change feels embodied, not forced.

I have been guiding individuals on their healing journeys for over 20 years, and it continues to be an honor to witness people reconnect with their strength, clarity, and sense of agency.

If you’re looking for therapy that is real, supportive, and respectful of your whole self,  I would be honored to walk alongside you.
